Paneer (cottagte cheese) cubes: 1 cup
Mustard seeds ( rai / sarson): 1/4 tsp
Fenugreek (methi) seeds: 5 to 6
Fennel seeds (saunf): 1 tsp
Nigella seeds (kalonji): 1 tsp
asafoetida (hing): 1/2 tsp
Cumin seeds (jeera): 1/2 tsp
thinly sliced onions: 1/2 cup
chilli powder: 1/2 tsp
black salt (sanchal): 1/2 tsp
turmeric powder (haldi): 1/2 tsp
fresh curds (dahi): 3/4 cup
plain flour (maida): 1 tsp
chopped coriander (dhania): 3 tbsp
oil: 1 tbsp
salt to taste
Method of preparation of achari paneer recipe
Take a small bowl, add mustard seeds, fennel seeds, cumin seeds, nigella seeds, fenugreek seeds, and asafoetida.
Add the mixture in hot oil.
As the seeds crackel, add onions and sauté.
Add turmeric, paneer, chilli powder, black salt and saute.
Add curds, sprinkle the flour and mix well.
Add the coriander and salt.
Bring to a boil.
Serve with hot rice or rotis.
